INGREDIENTS //

……………(1)  Stepper Motor

……………(2) Arduino Uno

……………(3) Real Time Clock

……………(4) Laser Cutter

……………(5) 0.25" Plywood

……………(6) Miscellaneous Hardware

DETAILS //

A collaboration between Art Professor, Meg Mitchell, and Professor Ben Recht's Optimization Lab in the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery provided me an opportunity to get involved with some of the early projects of Progress Gardens. I was responsible for the design and construction of a automated rotating platform. Designed with CAD, constructed with laser cut plywood, and controlled with an Arduino and motor shield, the platform was used to rotate a rack of micro-greens for a time lapse video.
