Greetings!

My name is Jack Boland. I am a Design Impact Master’s Candidate in my second year. Before that I spent 6 years as a Mechanical Engineer working in product design consulting helping bring clients from ideas through concept generation to prototyping and high volume manufacturing. My portfolio consisted of mostly medical devices and products for emerging markets, but spanned a wide spectrum of products.

In the interest of demonstrating the relevance of my experiences to the curriculum of ME310, I’ve cited a few examples below from past projects that help span the product development spectrum. These are also just a small collection of my work so feel free to poke around the remainder of my portfolio as well. A significant portion of my professional work is still confidential in nature, but I would be happy to discuss directly via Zoom.
