OBJECTIVE // Part of the Hangbot Project, I developed a bit of code for rendering images in a format that the plotter could reproduce. The program takes an image and converts it into a single continuous line.

DETAILS // The program takes a photo and produces a continuous line that traverses back and forth across the image as it makes its way downward. As it is moving, it reads the pixel brightness at each point and maps the amplitude of the wave form at that point. The darker the pixel, the higher the amplitude.
The program then outputs both GCode files as well as a DXF file.
